Automated Clearing House (ACH) Debit, and Electronic Filing (E-File)
  As an ACH debit user or E-filer, you can initiate your payment any time during the month and set a future date for payment. The transaction must be completed by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on the date listed below. If the payment is not complete by 5:00 p.m., a penalty will be assessed.

Automated Clearing House (ACH) Credit
  Your bank may have its own guidelines for ACH transactions. ACH credit users are responsible for contacting their bank to ensure funds are deposited in the state's bank no later than 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on the date listed below. If the payment is not complete by 5:00 p.m., a penalty will be assessed.
