Q:  I purchased an extended warranty and sales tax was not charged. What do I do?

A:  Washington persons are subject to use tax on extended warranties when sales tax has not been paid. Washington businesses report use tax on their excise tax returns. Washington residents not in business report use tax using the Consumer Use Tax return.
