Q:  Can I get retail sales tax back if I paid it on building materials?

A:  If retail sales tax was paid on goods purchased for resale, without intervening use, a deduction called Taxable Amount for Tax Paid at Source may be taken on your excise tax return, on the Retail Sales tax line.
