Abstract: 
Boundaries of the Public Transportation Benefit Areas (PTBA) of Washington State are depicted as polygons.

Purpose: 
This dataset is used as a reference layer for geographic information systems at the Washington State Department of Revenue and is used to identify business locations in relation to taxing jurisdictions.  PTBAs are Washington State transit areas established by public vote. PTBA is a variable in the computation of sales tax.
