Permissions by Access Types

There are two types of access that you can grant a user for an online account:

  • Administrator - Unlimited access that allows users to file a tax return, apply for a business license, pay, grant access for other users, and update business information.
  • Account Manager - Restricted access to prepare (file) tax returns or license applications, and/or make payments.

Permissions for Tax accounts

Administrator
  • Make a payment.
  • File or amend tax return.
  • View tax return history.
  • Set up a refund account.
  • Apply for a tax credit.
  • Apply for reseller permit.
  • Close tax account.
  • Manage users.
Account Manager
  • Make a payment.
  • File or amend tax return.
  • View tax return history.

Permissions for License accounts

Administrator
  • Make a payment.
  • Apply for a business license.
  • Renew a business license.
  • Update a location address.
  • Close a license account.
  • Set up a refund account.
  • Manage users.
  • Update a mailing address.
Account Manager
  • Make a payment.
  • Apply for a business license.
  • Renew a business license.
  • Update a location address.
  • Close a license account.
