Income Tax Advisory Workgroup
State law requires the Department of Revenue to consult with the Income Tax Advisory Workgroup created under Section 712 of ESSB 6346 for purposes of implementing and administering an income tax.
You may use this page to track our progress, view upcoming meeting schedules, watch past recordings, and submit public comments.
About the workgroup
The workgroup consists of 18 designated or appointed members dedicated to reviewing administrative frameworks and compliance strategies for the purpose of consulting on income tax and related issues.
The workgroup is required to submit two reports to the fiscal committees of the Washington State House of Representatives and Senate:
- Initial report: Due by December 15, 2026.
- Final report: Due by December 15, 2027.
