The Washington State Tax Structure Study Committee was created by Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill (ESSB) 6153 to report to the Legislature by November 30, 2002, on "how well the current tax system functions and how it might be hanged to better serve the citizens of the state in the twenty-first century."
