Proclamation 20-28.15 related to RCW 42.56.520(1) is extended until the termination of the state of emergency under RCW 43.06.210 or until rescinded, with the understanding that the waiver/suspension will not apply to five-day response requirements under the statute for public records requests received by an agency electronically.

The law prohibits the Department of Revenue from releasing lists of individuals or taxpayers to requestors if the request is made for a commercial purpose. You must submit the following form and describe the purpose of your request:

Note: The Department of Revenue does not have documents regarding complaints against businesses violating Washington state’s COVID19 restrictions. You can find them by submitting a public records request to the Department of Military.
