On June 6, 2016, Revenue rolled out its new online business licensing system, My DOR.
With My DOR, business customers can:
- File an annual renewal
- File a business license application
- Check on the status of a business account
- View and pay any outstanding fees
- Update account and business information
To access My DOR, business licensing customers must have a Secure Access Washington user ID, or use an existing one. This provides greater security and reduces the number of user IDs and passwords a business needs to track when working with state agencies in Washington. View this short video to learn more.
The new business licensing system is the first of three phases in a multi-year project that will replace Revenue’s core tax and licensing systems. When the second phase is complete in late 2017, customers will be able to use My DOR to report their taxes. This means one place to log on for both business licensing and tax return filing. My DOR is part of a larger, statewide effort to create a comprehensive “one-stop shop” experience for businesses.
