Bainbridge Island joins state’s combined licensing service

OLYMPIA, WASH. – July 12, 2018 – Today, the Department of Revenue announced the city of Bainbridge Island is the newest local licensing partner for the state’s one-stop for business licensing.

Bainbridge Island joins nearly 80 Business Licensing Service partner cities across the state, including other west Puget Sound communities. Through BLS, Bainbridge Island businesses can apply for more than 400 different state and local business registrations in a single transaction.

Businesses can also use their secure My DOR account to login to renew all of these licenses in a streamlined online process.

The Department of Revenue manages one of the few systems nationwide allowing businesses to simultaneously register with state agencies and cities in a single transaction. Find out more at http://bls.dor.wa.gov/.
