Darrington is newest town to join state’s combined licensing service

OLYMPIA, WASH. – Jan. 31, 2019 – Today, the Department of Revenue announced the town of Darrington as its 84th business licensing service (BLS) partner.

Darrington is home to more than 150 businesses along State Highway 530 and is the eighth Snohomish County municipality to partner with BLS.

The town will also use Revenue’s integrated tax and licensing reporting to support its program for collecting local business and occupation (B&O) tax. More than 20 Washington cities that have a local B&O tax are BLS partners.

BLS offers a unique technology solution that connects state local licensing to streamline applications and renewals for Washington businesses. Find out more at http://bls.dor.wa.gov/.
