Express file makes it easy to report no activity

OLYMPIA, WASH. – Jan. 16, 2019 – The Department of Revenue will offer extended call center hours leading up to the Jan. 31 annual filing deadline.

Revenue tax specialists will answer calls from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, Jan. 22 – 31 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26. Taxpayers should use the 360-705-6709 number during extended and weekend hours.

This is the busiest time of year for Revenue’s customer assistance center and marks the first time annual business filers will use the agency’s new My DOR portal.

Businesses with no activity for 2018 must still file a tax return and report “no business.” Express file offers a quick and easy way for businesses to report no activity. No login is required, just visit dor.wa.gov/expressfilenobiz.
