North Bonneville powers up regional commerce with combined licensing

OLYMPIA, Wash. – July 29, 2021 – The Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS) today welcomes the city of North Bonneville to its unique combined licensing partnership.

North Bonneville in Skamania County joins all other incorporated Washington communities on the banks of Lower Columbia in the partnership. BLS streamlines application and renewal processes for hundreds of different state and local licenses. With BLS, businesses may apply for multiple licenses in a single step and complete yearly renewals using the state’s secure online portal.

More than 170 cities already use the popular service. A list of all local partners is listed on the City license endorsements page.

The Department of Revenue is Washington state’s primary tax agency, nationally recognized as a trusted leader in tax administration and customer service. Revenue administers nearly 60 categories of taxes that help fund vital public services. It also oversees programs that return money to the public, including the Working Families Tax Credit and Unclaimed Property.
