Zillah grows commerce with Revenue’s licensing partnership

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Jan. 28, 2020 – Home to 3,000 residents, Zillah in the Yakima Valley is the newest partner of the Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS).

Zillah is another link in the chain of about 20 BLS partner cities near the Yakima River between Ellensburg and Richland. By connecting with the state BLS system, licensing is streamlined for thousands of business that work in more than one community across the state’s vital agricultural valley. More than 400 businesses operate in Zillah.

Two more South Central Washington cities – Mabton (population 2,000) and Mattawa (population 5,000) – will join before April to link up with the state’s signature one-stop for business licensing.
A complete list of BLS partner cities is on the city license endorsements page.
