OLYMPIA, Wash. – Jan. 21, 2020 – One of the state’s most popular beach destinations is starting a wave of coastal cities joining the state Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS).
Ocean Shores is the first of seven Grays Harbor County communities to link its local licensing with BLS in 2021. The city, which hosts thousands of tourists each year, is home to nearly 500 local businesses.
With BLS, Ocean Shores businesses can renew many cities’ licenses in one convenient step.
Next month, Elma and Hoquiam will join 150 other communities in the BLS partnership. More than 30 cities will join BLS in 2021.
A list of BLS partner cities can be found on the city license endorsements page.
