OLYMPIA, Wash. – Dec. 3, 2020 – The state Department of Revenue today welcomes the city of White Salmon as the newest partner of the Business Licensing Service (BLS).
The Columbia Gorge city of White Salmon has become the 34th city to join BLS in 2020. Revenue’s signature combined licensing service connects 149 cities across Washington with another 60 cities scheduled to join over the next two years.
White Salmon, population 2,300, sits across the Columbia River from Hood River, Oregon. Founded in 1907, the city dubs itself “the Land Where the Sun Meets the Rain.”
BLS connects local licensing with than 600 different state licenses and registrations to streamline service to businesses. Regional neighbors Goldendale, Bingen and Stevenson will join White Salmon as BLS partners in the next few months. A list of BLS partner cities is available on the city license endorsements page.
