Starting October 1: Some business services are now subject to retail sales tax, as required by state law, ESSB 5814. When you buy these services, vendors should add sales tax to your bill. Write the amount of your credit on the appropriate line(s).

If you qualify for the Small Business B&O Tax Credit, write the amount on line 17. Use the monthly, quarterly, or annual (pdf) Small Business B&O Tax Credit Table, depending on your assigned filing frequency, to determine the amount of credit. The Small Business B&O Tax Credit must not exceed your B&O tax due (total tax due from lines 1 – 5).

Total all credits and write the amount in the Total Credit box. Transfer the total credit to Section VI, line 26, on page 1 of the return.
- Attach all supporting documents or schedules to the tax return.
