To renewal online

Follow these steps the first time you access this online service:

If you are not signed up for My DOR, click to join. Then follow the instructions to create your online profile.

Once you reach the screen that states: Registration successful:

  • Click on Nonprofit Property Tax Renewal located at the bottom of the screen, under the Other Taxes and Services heading on the left hand side.
  • Click on Nonprofit Property Tax Renewal under the More Services menu.
  • Log on by entering the first 5 digits (if you are the owner) or enter all 8 digits (if you are the delegate) of your registration number and access code.

Where to find your registration number and access code

In December, all nonprofit property owners received a renewal postcard containing their registration number and access code.

A full registration number is 8 digits in length. (Example 12345 987).

The first five digits indicate the owner’s account. The remaining three digits indicate a location.

  • Owners can access the online renewal using only the first five digits.
  • Delegates can access the online renewal using all eight digits.

If you are unable to find your letter that contains your registration number and access code, please call (360) 534-1400.

Do it yourself or delegate it to someone else

As the owner, you may choose to complete the renewal yourself, or delegate it to someone else. This feature is handy for owners of multiple locations because you can delegate the renewal to someone at each location.

Choose between three levels of delegation:

  • Submitters can prepare and submit the renewal on your behalf
  • Preparers can get the renewal ready, but it must be submitted by you
  • None. This level of delegation leaves the entire renewal responsibility up to you
