General business endorsement Variable

Franklin County requires an endorsement for all businesses located within the unincorporated areas of the county, or traveling into or doing business within the unincorporated areas of the county. If you are not sure if you will do business within the unincorporated areas of the county, contact the county directly before you apply (unincorporated areas are not in the city limits of any city in the county).

If you will have more than one business located on a single property, you must complete a separate application for each business.

Endorsement fee is determined by square footage within the unincorporated areas of Franklin County.

If your business is in a residence within the unincorporated areas of the county, you must comply with Franklin County Municipal Code 17.06.450. For more information on home occupation requirements, contact the county directly.

If your business is not physically located inside the unincorporated areas of Franklin County but you will be traveling into or doing business in the unincorporated areas of Franklin County a Franklin County endorsement is required. (Unincorporated areas are not in the city limits of any city in the county.)
