Tax rate lookup tool

Use the search options to find sales tax rates for any location within Washington State.

This tool (with the exception of the map search) is also accessible by handheld devices. Simply type taxrates.dor.wa.gov. For this search the street address and ZIP code (without the +4) is all that is necessary.

If you have a GPS device that is on board or handheld, you can use the latitude and longitude to find the location codes and rates. This is extremely helpful when at a new construction location or the address has not been updated by the vendor providing the address data.

You may also use the Zip + 4 only and get the correct location codes and rates.
