Burien joins Revenue’s Business Licensing Service

OLYMPIA, Wash. – May 21, 2020 –The city of Burien is closely connected to the state’s largest city – Seattle – and its largest airport, which serves 50 million passengers each year. Today, Burien is strengthening that connection by forging a new bond with the state’s premier business licensing solution.

Burien, population 52,000, is the newest partner of the Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service. It is the 21st city in King County to join the service that also supports nearby Federal Way, SeaTac, and Tukwila.

Thousands of local businesses will benefit from the system that connects state and local license registration and renewals with Revenue’s familiar, streamlined online solution.
