Concrete sets a foundation for better business with BLS

OLYMPIA, Wash. – June 18, 2020 – The Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS) welcomes the Skagit County city of Concrete as its newest member.

Concrete is the first of three communities on Highway 20 – the North Cascades Highway – to link up with the state's premier combined licensing solution. In the next month, both Lyman and Hamilton will complete BLS partnerships.

About 100 local businesses will immediately see the benefits for streamlined license renewals already enjoyed by their neighbors in Sedro-Woolley and Burlington. BLS supports about 600 different types of regulatory licenses among dozens of state agency programs and more than 130 Washington municipalities.

A list of partner cities is listed on the city license endorsements page.
