Lynden links to Revenue’s streamlined licensing solution

OLYMPIA, Wash. –July 23, 2020 – The city of Lynden today joins its regional neighbors in the Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS).

The Whatcom County community of 15,000 residents is now linked to its Northwest Washington neighbors, including Bellingham, Blaine, and Ferndale, as it adds Revenue’s streamlined service for state and local licensing. Famous for its Dutch-inspired architecture and annual Raspberry Festival, Lynden is host to hundreds of businesses that will now save time with annual business license renewal processing.

BLS works for more than 140 communities statewide. A list of partner cities is listed on the city license endorsements page.

The Department of Revenue is Washington state’s primary tax agency, nationally recognized as a trusted leader in tax administration and customer service.
