General business license

The city of Brier requires a license for all businesses located within city limits, or conducting business within city limits. If you are not sure if you will do business within the city limits, contact the city directly before you apply.
General Business Licenses are only permitted in a specific zone inside city limits of Brier, see Brier Municipal code 17.30. Contact the city directly for zoning and permitting information.
If you will have more than one business located on a single property, you must complete a separate application for each business.

If your business is in a residence within the city, you must comply with Brier Municipal Code 17.12. For more information on home occupation requirements, contact the city directly.
Along with a Business License Application filed with the Department of Revenue, the city requires a Home Occupation Questionnaire. Until the additional questionnaire is submitted, the city of Brier endorsement cannot be approved. Please complete the questionnaire and return directly to the city either by email or paper copy. The city will contact the business by email or phone with any questions after the application and questionnaire have been submitted.
