A lodging use, other than a hotel or motel, in which a dwelling unit or portion thereof or accessory dwelling unit is provided to guests by a short-term rental operator for a fee for fewer than 30 consecutive nights. A dwelling unit or portion thereof that is used by the same individual or individuals for 30 or more consecutive nights is not a short-term rental.
