The city of Wenatchee requires a license for all businesses located within city limits, or conducting business within city limits. If you are not sure if you will do business within the city limits, contact the city directly before you apply.
Along with a Business License Application filed with the Department of Revenue, all business licenses must be approved by the city of Wenatchee’s Fire, Community Development and Environmental Departments. Additional materials (such as a land use form and a site plan) may be required for businesses including but not limited to, parking lots, landscape review, mobile vendors, and home occupations. Commercially zoned businesses additionally require a walk-through inspection by the Building Division. Until all required materials are submitted to the city, the city of Wenatchee endorsement cannot be approved. The city of Wenatchee will contact the business by email or letter requesting the required information after the business license application has been submitted.
License fee is determined by gross annual income and number of employees who work within the city limits.
