Commercial Vehicle Credit application
 
  1. On dor.wa.gov click the Log in button.
  2. Enter your SAW User ID and password, and click the Log in to My DOR button. If asked, complete the Multi-Factor Authentication challenge to verify your identity.
  3. On the My DOR Services page, click Get Started.
  4. In the Excise Tax Account panel, click the More Excise Tax Options link.
  5. In the Credits section, click the Manage/Apply for a Tax Credit link.
  6. Click the Add Commercial Vehicle Credit Application link.
  7. Complete and submit the application.
Alternative Fuel Vehicle Infrastructure Credit application
 
  1. On dor.wa.gov click the Log in button.
  2. Enter your SAW User ID and password, and click the Log in to My DOR button. If asked, complete the Multi-Factor Authentication challenge to verify your identity.
  3. On the My DOR Services page, click Get Started.
  4. In the Excise Tax Account panel, click the More Excise Tax Options link.
  5. In the Credits section, click the Manage/Apply for a Tax Credit link.
  6. Click the Add Alternative Fuel Vehicle Infrastructure Credit Application link.
  7. Complete and submit the application.
Main Street Credit application
 
  1. On dor.wa.gov click the Log in button.
  2. Enter your SAW User ID and password, and click the Log in to My DOR button. If asked, complete the Multi-Factor Authentication challenge to verify your identity.
  3. On the My DOR Services page, click Get Started.
  4. In the Excise Tax Account panel, click the More Excise Tax Options link.
  5. In the Credits section, click the Manage/Apply for a Tax Credit link.
  6. Click the Add Main Street Application link.
  7. Complete and submit the application.
Commute Trip Reduction application
 

This application is only available from January 1 to February 15.

  1. On dor.wa.gov click the Log in button.
  2. Enter your SAW User ID and password, and click the Log in to My DOR button. If asked, complete the Multi-Factor Authentication challenge to verify your identity.
  3. On the My DOR Services page, click Get Started.
  4. In the Excise Tax Account panel, click the More Excise Tax Options link.
  5. In the Credits section, click the Manage/Apply for a Tax Credit link.
  6. Click the Add CTR Application link.
  7. Complete and submit the application.

Apply a special credit to a return
 

Once your credit application is approved and issued to your account, you may claim your credit when you file your online excise tax return(s) in My DOR.

  1. On dor.wa.gov click the Log in button.
  2. Enter your SAW User ID and Password and click Log in to My DOR. If asked, complete the Multi-Factor Authentication challenge to verify your identity.
  3. On the My DOR Services page, click Get Started.
  4. In the Excise Tax Return panel, click the File Return link.
  5. On the Business & Occupation page, your approved and available credit amount displays in the Business & Occupation Credits section. Enter the amount of credit to be taken for this return.
