Edmonds city endorsement

The City of Edmonds requires a license for all businesses located within city limits, or conducting business within city limits. If you are not sure if you will do business within the city limits, contact the city directly before you apply. 

Along with a Business License Application (PDF) filed with the Department of Revenue, commercial businesses must submit a floor plan and additional form to the city of Edmonds. Until the floor plan and additional form are submitted, the city of Edmonds endorsement cannot be approved. The city of Edmonds will contact the business by email or letter requesting the required information after the application has been submitted.

If you are a nonprofit business, you may be exempt from city fees. To qualify you must submit a copy of your business’ IRS 501(c) certificate with your application.

If your business is in a residence within the city, you must comply with Edmonds Municipal Code 20.20. For more information on home occupation requirements, contact the city directly.

Until the additional questionnaire is submitted, the city of Edmonds endorsement cannot be approved.
