Bremerton adds Revenue’s combined licensing service

‘It’s easy and it’s definitely the way to go’

OLYMPIA, Wash. – July 15, 2021 – The Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS) today welcomes the city of Bremerton as the 175th partner of the combined licensing one-stop solution serving more than half a million Washington businesses. BLS now serves all Kitsap County and Olympic Peninsula cities that issue local business licenses annually.

Historic Pomeroy adds Revenue’s combined licensing solution

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Sept. 16, 2021 – The historic city of Pomeroy is the newest city partner of the Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service.

Pomeroy, the seat of Garfield County, is home to 1,500 residents and dozens of businesses. Founded 135 years ago on land once surveyed by Lewis and Clark, Pomeroy boasts a 10-block downtown district that is on the National Historic Register.

Snohomish County commerce syncs to Revenue’s licensing system

Arlington is 182nd local partner and 16th in the county

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Sept. 23, 2021 – The city of Arlington today joins 15 other communities as a partner of the Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS). Arlington is BLS’s 16th and final local partner in Snohomish County, which is home to 800,000 residents, and a workforce of more than 400,000 supporting more than 20,000 businesses.

Pacific joins the rising tide of Revenue’s combined licensing solution

Northern neighbors Algona and Auburn also set to join

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Oct. 28, 2021 – The Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS) today welcomes the city of Pacific as its newest local partner.

With a population of 7,000 and 600 registered businesses, Pacific straddles King and Pierce counties near State Route 167 in the Green River valley.

Winthrop saddles up for streamlined licensing

Twisp and other regional neighbors also soon to join Revenue’s signature service

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Jan. 6, 2022 – An historic Washington town with a Western flair is the newest partner of the Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS).

The town of Winthrop in the Methow Valley is the first partner to join BLS in 2022. The town shows off its Old West theme in its architecture and service sectors that attract more than 500,000 tourists in boom years.

Woodland joins Revenue's combined licensing service

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Jan. 20, 2022 – The city of Woodland today is the newest local partner to join the Department of Revenue’s Business Licensing Service (BLS).

Home to 6,500 residents and hundreds of businesses, Woodland was founded in 1906 and has a rich agricultural history. Each spring, Woodland celebrates its Planter’s Day Festival. The celebration, which turns 100 this year, is the longest-running annual community festival in Washington state.

Benton City, population 3,500, is in the heart of a rich viticultural region that produces world-renowned grape varietals, such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, in the nation’s second-largest wine-producing state.
